How it all started...
Lighthouse Church International was birthed out of the ministry vision of Pastors Mitchell and Janella Wright. Since November of 1995 Pastor Wright has proclaimed the good news of Christ to the world. In March of 1997, Mitchell and Janella were joined together in Holy Matrimony. They faithfully served in their local church, Mitchell as organist and lay minister. Janella served as a Sunday School teacher for many years.
On Father's Day of 2004, Pastors Mitchell and Janella founded Antioch Church of Jesus Christ in Athens, TN. For the greater part of the next four years, they served the congregation at Antioch and saw the Lord perform great miracles. Many souls were saved, baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost!
In October of 2008, Pastors Mitchell and Janella obeyed the call of God to begin a new work in Charleston, TN. The Lighthouse was born out of a burden to win the lost and be a beacon of hope for the hopeless! Many things have changed since that crisp Sunday in the fall of 2008, but one thing remains the same, the message of hope through Jesus Christ!
While laboring in the work of The Lord at The Lighthouse, Our pastors were called to simultaneously pastor Hendersonville Pentecostal Church, (near Nashville, TN). Many good things have been birthed from their time at HPC.
